The book dives into Frankl’s horrific prisoner experience at Auschwitz, Dachau and other camps, where he explores the meaning in life. This leads to a section surrounding logotherapy, a form of psychotherapy that Frankl created after his experiences in the camp.

When Breath Becomes Air
When Breath Becomes Air is a memoir of a Paul Kalanithi, a neurosurgeon, who is diagnosed with terminal lung cancer.
